Handler made her debut on her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving badly which was a reality program with an in-camera hidden camera and a practical comedy. It aired between 2002 and 2005. The handler worked on various other shows, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler worked on The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. Handler was given her first big break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. Named The Chelsea Handler show. It lasted two seasons. Handler was then able to tour her native United States as part of the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up comedy shows. Her name was chosen as host of the The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. Roseanne became the very first woman ever to host the VMAs.
